This is a fun and easy-to-make game that works well in an ocean storytime.
This guessing game features animals and others hidden behind a lift-the-flap ocean.
Start with all the flaps down.
Then lift one flap at a time to reveal parts of an animal.
Who could be in the ocean?
Why, it’s a shell!
Other ocean animals:
This is a simple game to make. I used clip art, and printed out an animal about slightly less the size of a sheet of paper. Cut a piece of blue construction paper in half, then cut three slits from the bottom of the construction paper about three quarters of the way up. Use a piece of double stick tape to attach the construction paper over the top of the clip art.
THANK YOU for a new way to do guessing games!!! Love this, can’t wait to add it to my resource packs at work!
Nice idea, quick to make – lots of ideas for guessing other themes too (I’ll just run off and try a few)!
I am going to use this for a craft later in the year. Thank you!
Clever Idea!
