Oops, this one doesn’t go with the theme, but I’m going to post it anyway.
You can sing or just chant this fun rhyme. The song can be found on Sharon, Lois and Bram’s The Elephant Show Record (you can get it on itunes, as well). I sing to my own, slightly simpler, somewhat made-up version of the tune.

We all call very loudly “ELEPHANT!!” Repeat up to at least 3 elephants, I can usually get the kids up to 5 elephants.
Once the spider’s web fills up, it’s time to switch to the ending verse.

We yell boom and slap our hands on our legs as loudly as we can. You may need to practice the “boom” before you sing.
The spider’s web is clip art from Open ClipArt Library, attached with spray glue to a piece of posterboard. The elephants are laminated clip art. The completed spiderweb has a layer of spray glue over the top so the elephants easily stick to the board.
